French King Cake
Soya cream alternative
2 puff pastries without butter
170 g ground almonds
40 g cornstarch
70 g sugar
50 g coconut oil or ou margarine
80 g of Soya Cream Alternative
5 cL boisson au soja (soya drink)
Preheat oven at 180°C
Mix the ground almonds, sugar and cornstarch. Melt the coconut oil or margarine and add to the mixture. Then add the Sojade cuisine and mix.
Line a tart mold with one of the puff pastries and pour the preparation with the bean in. Cover with the second puff pastry and fold the edges over.
Tip: Trace patterns on the top with the tip of a knife. Pierce a hole in the centre of the cake for the air to escape while it cooks and to prevent an air bubble from forming. Smooth the top with a brush which you will have dipped in the boisson au soja (soya drink).Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
